A scenic 40 minute ferry from Vancouver.
From the ferry by car: 5 minutes on Marine Drive along the ocean until you see the sign "Welcome to Gibsons"; turn right at the first street (Beach Ave) and follow it uphill for 2 short steep blocks, at which point Beach Ave curves and becomes Glen Rd.
From the ferry by bus: Ask the driver to let you off at Hicks Lane; walk down 4 houses until you see #625 on the garage; enter down the steps through the back garden.

Crystal Creek is for private use only. Call first as the gates are kept locked at all times.
Crystal Creek is a 10 minute drive from the intersection of Hwy 1 and Roberts Ck Rd. Turn uphill at the traffic signal at this intersection. Follow Roberts Ck Rd straight uphill (it joins Lockyer Rd) for 5 minutes until it continues straight onto E. Wilson Forest Service Rd. Continue straight ahead onto this logging road (instead of veering right with the pavement onto Grauman Rd). About a kilometer after the first bridge you will see a large sign on your right marking the East Gate and our main entry into Crystal Creek Nature Retreat; enter here for quick access to the large main parking lot and to the camping areas.
About a 100 meters further along the logging road and immediately after the 2nd bridge, you will see 2 driveways on the right forking off the logging road. The first driveway on your right is our West Gate entry for service vehicles and event organizors; this driveway parallels the creek and after about 300 meters you will cross the creek again and arrive at the Festival Kitchen, Emerald Pond, and main gathering areas. The same key opens both the East and West gates. (The driveway at the left fork leads to Moon Gate Farms. Be careful not to enter there, especially at night, and bother our neighbours.)
