A scenic 40 minute ferry from Vancouver.
From the ferry by car: 5 minutes on Marine Drive along the ocean until you see the sign "Welcome to Gibsons"; turn right at the first street (Beach Ave) and follow it uphill for 2 short steep blocks, at which point Beach Ave curves and becomes Glen Rd.
From the ferry by bus: Ask the driver to let you off at Hicks Lane; walk down 4 houses until you see #625 on the garage; enter down the steps through the back garden.

Crystal Ck. Nature Retreat

Crystal Creek is a 10 minute drive from the intersection of Hwy 1 and Roberts Ck Rd.
Turn uphill at the traffic signal at the above noted intersection. Follow Roberts Ck Rd straight uphill (it joins Lockyer Rd) for 5 minutes until it continues straight onto E. Wilson Forest Service Rd. Continue straight ahead onto this logging road (instead of veering right with the pavement onto Grauman Rd). Follow the gravel road over 2 bridges. Immediately after the 2nd bridge you will see the Crystal Creek sign up high on a fir tree, and 2 driveways. Follow the first driveway on your right up to Crystal Creek. (The other one belongs to our neighbour Moon Gate Farms.)
However for large events, follow the instructions to park on the left side of the logging road and walk in through the sunburst gate. After 300 meters you will cross the creek again and come into an opening.
