crystal creek nature retreat CAMPGROUND

This unique and sacred 10 acre site provides a place for solitude and private reflection, for quiet forest camping, as well as a community gathering space for families and people of all ages to come together in celebration.

We are honoured to live, learn, and share on the unceded ancestral lands of the shíshálh (Sechelt) Peoples. With deep respect, we acknowledge their ongoing relationship with these forests, waters, and all living beings, and we are grateful for their stewardship that continues to this day.

Located in the midst of the provincial forest on the foothills of Mount Elphinstone, Crystal Creek is accessed via the East Wilson Creek Forest Service Road above Roberts Creek. However its formal address is 2085 Lockyer Rd. It is just a 20 minute drive from Inner Moves Studio and B&B in Gibsons.

Blessed with pristine creek waters tumbling from the mountain, a swimming pond fed by underground springs, sunny fields, organic gardens, a temple faery meadow, and mossy paths into the forest, Crystal Creek is only 10 minutes from Hwy 1, yet provides serenity and sacred space 'away from it all' with access to adjacent mountain bike and hiking trails.

The Festival Kitchen, complete with wood grill and cob pizza oven, fosters a sense of community with 'kitchen parties', as does gathering by the pond for ceremony and dance, or by the campfire to share stories or make music in the magic of the night.

Recent building of the beautiful Crystal Palace provides 1254 square feet of covered space so as to be able to plan celebrations, performances and workshops in this exquisite natural setting that are not thwarted by rain.
