Nia is an exhilarating movement and lifestyle practice that has been changing people's lives since 1983. As the first workout to combine martial arts, dance, and healing arts, Nia has created an evolutionary approach to fitness and self-healing in a body.
Nia offers a fun, creative pathway to health and well-being,
regardless of age or physical condition. A wide variety of tantalizing music is used to inspire you. Students are guided to move freely and to weave in and out of appropriate intensity levels for each move.
Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that cultivate fitness
by choosing Pleasure over pain,
by listening to Sensation - the Voice of the Body -
and by developing our Sensory Intelligence
as the way to live and be in the body.
